lest i become predictable, taking inspiration from zombie films, this hoop was inspired by a line from the film titanic which contains no zombies.

applique and embroidered zombie girl hanging, “rose”.
“embroider me like one of your french girls”
this little wall hanging measures approximately 25cm x 18cm (9.5” x 7"), with a quote from ‘titanic’ (kinda) freehand machine embroidered on it.
this undead beauty is wearing a navy dress in a pretty liberty print, with pale blue cotton detail to the sleeves, collar & bodice. her flaming red hair hair contrasts with her deathly pale blue linen skin.
the fabrics are layered and appliqued onto hand dyed cotton calico, and the intricate details drawn on with free machine (free motion) embroidery.
the reverse side is lined with red cotton.
this piece is made entirely on a domestic sewing machine. everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
if ordering more than one item, any excess postage charges will be refunded via paypal.
my design is based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, and is used under license.
