I was inspired by mechanical bird music boxes and also 18th Century embroidery. I wanted the box to seem like it has a history. Once important and grand it now sits forgotten on a dusty shelf somewhere. Ready to be found and enjoyed again.

Full description
Handmade fabric bird box decorated with sequins and beads. The lid is removable. The box measures 4cm x 4cm squared. The flowers on the side are inspired by an 18th century embroidery design.
