Full description

I've made this pretty little mouse from a beautifully tactile Japanese Noro yarn. The self-striping mix is 51% wool, 29% cotton, 10% silk and 10% angora in subdued shades of orange, green, pink and purple.

Mouse measures approximately 11cm in length and 7cm high plus a tail with a natural curl and cute round ears. I've added black safety eyes, grey embroidery thread whiskers and a pink felt nose.

I've used the Japanese crochet method called amigurumi which is worked in a continuous spiral of increases and decreases leaving a small hole for stuffing the creature. It's a very neat method and means that there are no seams to sew together at the end, just the stuffing hole to sew closed.
