Full description
Sherlock Holmes quote scarf in petrol blue with white ink lettering.
The scarf is made from 100% soft cotton jersey with raw edges, it contains the following quote from The Sign of Four by Arthur Conan Doyle:
’How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?’
This scarf has been screen printed myself using a white environmentally friendly water based ink. This gives the finished item a soft natural finish as the fabric fibers are dyed so there is no raised or rubbery effect to the lettering.
The edges and ends of the scarf are left raw, jersey cotton doesn't fray and will naturally roll up on the ends and edges. The cotton jersey is similar to what is used in shirts and as it is lightweight, can worn comfortably for most of the year.
Measurements:approx 15" wide and 78" long
Machine washable on a cool wash at 30 degrees, lay flat if possible to dry and iron on a warm setting with steam.
Each scarf is printed individually by hand. Because of this slight variations in the colour and print may occur.
Jersey cotton shrinks on the first wash, because of this the fabric used in these scarves have been laundered in a non-biological washing powder before cutting and printing on them .
