Some time ago, I spotted an old clothes peg at the museum where I do voluntary work. It's a bit bigger than the ones we can buy these days, and it set me thinking.

I chose a nice piece of sycamore with which to replicate the peg and I'm really pleased with the result.

Not strictly jewellery I know, but this quirky jump drive deserves to be shown off. It has 1 Gigabyte of memory. I'm told 1 GB will accept anything between 250 and 1000 photographs depending on quality settings. Or 250 MP3s at 128 kB/s.

The wash day jump drive measures about 5.5" x 7/8". Be aware that the chunky nature of some of my memory sticks may not fit directly into some machines. I'll send a short extension lead with this one.

I do favour a finish that allows the ‘woodiness’ of the material to show through rather than a glossy varnish and most of what I have on sale feature an oil and hard wax finish. Socks not included!
