The malt sacks have a wholesome character to them and have the feel of the workers who have used them. I thought an apron would be a great way of showing off the simple but wonderful design of the sacking and provide a more neutral design as an apron for both men and women when they are normally tailored for a feminine look.

An apron with a bright orange coloured design and green trim made from a Maris Otter malt brewers sack
Been left in charge of the sausages and ended up with them spitting all over you and covered in ketchup? What you need is a good looking apron that protects your clothes. This malt sacking has been transformed into an apron with a wipeable front, perfect for those little spills. A sunset orange cotton has been used for lining the back, neck strap and side ties to give comfort and a quality finish. A perfect gift for a fan of beer and one with a knack for BBQ or baking.

Back ties measure 27 or 69cm in length. Neck strap measures 25 or 64cm
To clean, wipe down with a damp cloth. Can be ironed on a medium heat with brown paper between apron and iron as ink may transfer
This is a handmade product made from up-cycled materials which may have warping and marks from its previous life adding to its character.
