This soft golden-green leather made me think of springtime. I paired it with a floral lining paper, floral transfer and contrasting soft mauve thread and vibrantly-coloured button, to make it a really special little item.
There's something very luxurious and special about a leather journal - nothing else feels quite like it. The leathers used for the cover of this book are of very high quality and have been vegetable-tanned and dyed, giving a really beautiful finish.

A pretty journal, covered in beautiful spring green leather and hand bound with care.
The cover is high quality leather, in spring green with a natural-grained finish. It will last well and won't stretch or sag. The leather is lined with a crisp patterned paper with soft green florals on a white background.
The front cover is decorated with two small blossom transfers, to enhance the springtime feel.
The book fastens with a contrasting glass bead button in stripes of spring green, peacock blue and an orchid purple and a wrap-round cord to tie. The bead is attached firmly with linen thread and has a little button on the reverse side, for support.
It is bound in a variation of longstitch, in contrasting soft mauve linen thread. The stitches are crossed on the spine, to make a pretty design.
The book contains 80 pages (160 sides) of crisp, white "Three Candlesticks" paper with a laid finish and hand-torn edges. This paper is also a very high quality and will take all dry media.
A great notebook, to carry in your pocket, shopping bag or laptop case. Or perhaps you might like to use it to keep a journal. Or as a sketch book, or ideas keeper.
This book measures 6 inches high (15cm) and 4.25 inches across (11cm).
