Full description
An original Howard Keith armchair with characteristic roundness and fantastic splayed legs.
HK furniture which was founded by Howard Keith, are a high quality award winning furniture manufacturer, having supplied furniture for the QE2, Marlborough House and the Royal train in the Queen's jubilee year.
This chair is an early example, retaining it's utility furniture label, dating the chair between 1942 and 1952.
The chair has been fully restored and is now a truly stunning piece of furniture.
The legs have been sanded and refinished.
The frame has been stripped and reupholstered using traditional techniques and materials, just as it was originally! All top cover joins have been hand stiched. A high quality foam cushion has been fitted for long lasting comfort.
Photos have been taken throughout the restoration process which we will have pleasure in providing upon request.
A beautiful Bute wool in orange (squash) has been used as the top cover.
A sample of the fabric can also be provided upon request.
