Full description
This little fine silver acorn has been handmade from silver clay which is the purest form of silver (99.99%), It is environmentally friendly as the silver used has been recycled from the waste of the silver industry.
I captured the beautiful shape of the acorn using a mould of a real acorn. I kiln fired it, hand polished it and then used a patina to give it a blackened, aged look before polishing the raised surfaces so that the textured cup stands out against the highly polished silver of the acorn. I then popped it into my tumbler to add strength, durability and shine.
The acorn is 1.3cm long (not including the rings) and 0.9cm across it's widest point, it is sold in a recycled cardboard 'Wild Silver' jewellery box.
Your pendant will be strung on high quality British made 16" sterling silver snake chain, if you would prefer a 18" chain, they are £2 extra, you can purchase the longer chain from a listing in my shop titled 'Upgrade to 18" sterling silver snake chain'.
