I love working with 100% cotton yarn. It's so versatile! Bunting is so popular right now, but I love the idea of making something more tactile and textured than plain fabric bunting, and these cute crochet hearts were just perfect!

The bunting consists of six hearts of different colours - light purple, dark pink, dark purple, aqua blue, sky blue and leafy green- each measuring approximately 9cm across on a crochet cord approximately 160cm long.
Plastic beads set at intervals along the cord provide a little weight to ensure the bunting drapes well, and there is a plastic button at either end which makes it easier to use blu-tac to fix it to walls or furniture.
