Natural pink Rhodochrosite makes this super gemstone pendant! This gemstone forms as stalagmites in caves in Argentina and is highly prized for its stunning rose pink colour.
Rhodochrosite of quality is a costly gemstone and the most rare, transparent crystals are faceted and cut for jewellery. This gemstone is of excellent quality. It is not colour enhanced and is translucent. You can see banding patterns within the stone which formed as the gemstone grew.
I have simply added a sterling silver bail, which has been hand finished and polished then suspended the pendant on a feminine sterling silver curb chain.
The pendant measures 35 x 15 mm approx. including the bail. The bail is stamped 925 for sterling silver.
The fine curb chain is 18 inches in length approx. is finished with a bolt ring clasp and is also stamped 925 for sterling silver. The bail has a large enough loop to accommodate a larger chain or cord you may already own, if you fancy a change.
Both the bail and the chain are stamped 925 for sterling silver.
Your necklace will come securely packaged.
