Decorative logs look amazing displayed in empty fireplaces and alcoves...but they MUST be dry! We don't want homes over-run with insects and little beasties! 'Kiln-dried' logs are very often NOT dry enough to display permanently within a home. We've thoroughly dried the logs and hand-finished the wood for you...no worries about insects or mould!

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Our decorative natural logs are sourced from within our local forests, approved by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC); we have a selection of log styles available to choose from.
This listing is for one bundle of our whole, peeled softwood logs, 20cm (8") long. Ideal for filling empty alcoves and recesses. If you have an imitation wood-burner, why not pop a stack of these alongside - and convince everyone it is real!
These logs are hand finished and sanded - no bark to slowly fall off and create a mess beneath your installation! They have been thoroughly kiln dried to eradicate any insects - no chemicals are used at all in our process.
The diameters of the logs vary between 4cm and 15cm.
There are approximately 12-15 logs in each bundle, including two half logs to neaten around the edges. Pop the cut, flat edge outwards at the end of a row to fill any small gap.
(Please note these decorative logs are also available in 10cm /4" lengths).
HOW MANY of THESE BUNDLES WILL YOU NEED?
Our logs and tiles are sold by 'the bundle'. One bundle will fill an area 30x30cm / one square foot (when viewing the end grain as seen in the 4th image above).
To calculate the number of bundles you require, please use the following formulae:
in centimetres: HEIGHT x WIDTH / 900 (height times width divided by 900) will give you how many bundles you will need.
in inches: HEIGHT x WIDTH / 144 (height times width divided by 144) will calculate how many bundles you will need.
