Description

A dibber is a gardening tool used for making a hole into soil or compost when planting seeds into plant pots. These dibbers have been hand turned from oak, and finished with a coat of polish and then wax. On each dibber, I have burned on five lines spaced 25mm(1 inch) apart. They measure 200mm long, 32mm diameter at the widest point, and 10mm diameter at the thin end.
