Hi I'm Danielle, founder and maker of Little Saint.

Just over 2 years ago I was pregnant with my little boy, Baxter, and treading the streets with my swollen feet looking for accessories to finish off our nursery. All I kept finding were the usual gender specific colours and themes or TV characters, I really wanted pieces that were a bit more unique and fun.. and what I couldn't understand was, why was everything in pastel colours?

I decided if I couldn't buy what I wanted, then I would just have to make it myself, so I did. I scoured shops and the internet for fabrics, patterns and ideas and I spent my pregnancy on my sewing machine.

Fast forward several hectic months of getting to grips with motherhood and all that it entails, and after many lovely comments and a bit of encouragement, here I am, with a sparkly new sewing machine (i may have killed the old one) with a host of found and made items, ready to make and do!
