Full description
I used hand-set lead type and scarlet ink to letterpress print this set of 3 cards, each with a different romantic quote. Perfect for slipping into a bag or coat pocket for your loved one to find. Write your own special message on the back or let the printed words speak for themselves!
The quotes are as follows:
“You are the finest, loveliest, tenderest, and most beautiful person I have ever known – and even that is an understatement.”
“I love you,
Not only for what you are,
But for what I am
When I am with you.”
“My heart to you is given:
Oh, do give yours to me;
We’ll lock them up together,
And throw away the key.”
The cards are flat, measure approximately 7.5cm x 11cm and come with 3 matching scarlet envelopes in a cellophane bag.
Please note: I print these cards by hand on an Adana press, therefore each one is unique and so they may differ slightly - this is part of the charm of the letterpress process!
