I love working with agate, it is a natural semi-precious gemstone and comes in a gorgeous array of colours.
Agate has been used since ancient times for carving and jewellery making, and was also said to ward off storms.
I thought these gorgeous smooth blue beads needed nothing more than a simple wrapping of silver wire to show them off best.

Full description
These earrings are made from smooth deep blue agate beads which have been wrapped around with silver plated jewellery wire, and hung from handmade ear wires. A simple, elegant design which matches perfectly with the blue agate necklace also available in my shop.
The blue agate earrings measure just over 4cm (1.75") from the top of the ear wire, the agate beads are 12mm.
To minimise postage costs these earrings will arrive mounted on a Dragonfly Lane branded card, wrapped in tissue and placed into an organza gift bag. If you would prefer them to be gift boxed please add one to your order from the gift box section in my shop.
