Full description
This glamorous red and black handbag is very versatile, looking great night or day.
A good size for keeping all those bits and pieces together but not so big you will spend the rest of the day attempting to find those bits and pieces. Also useful for this are two inside pockets in the cotton lining.
The fabric is soft and light but is lined with a heavy interfacing to reinforce, along with a matching twisted piping which both brings out the beautiful colours of the flowers and helps keep the shape of the bag.
This piping was hand sewn by me because I couldn't otherwise get the finish I wanted. It is therefore very dear to me and very strong.
The handle is plaited black cotton twill with a fully adjustable strap, and reinforced with triangular stitching where attached.
There is a split pocket in the lining, one gathered to hold a mobile phone.
