My daughter is the inspiration for the whole of this crafting venture. The shop is even named after her. When I made the first blue bird children's mobile it occurred to me that some people might like these little characters as individual ornaments, so, here is the first!

Full description
This bird is designed from scratch by me, hand cut (no dies), hand sewn, hand stuffed (using high loft polyester toy stuffing), and finished with little string legs. The wings are cut from contrasting cotton fabrics and machine sewn, and the eyes are hand embroidered. The bird is hung from a loop of organza ribbon so you can hang it on a drawer knob, door handle, window latch, curtain tie-back, or anywhere else you can think of.
The birds measure 11cm beak to tail.
