I am a recycler, very keen, some might say a bit oddly keen. Inspired to make a shed I took to slumping glass to make a round window...and that's how this started, and now I am hooked! I am now making beer bottle glasses, as you do.... and fusing glass with metal clock parts to create a fantastic hand made glass stained glass window for my my husbands' studio door.

Full description
This is a wine bottle - no really! It is! Flattened in the kiln to produce a rather nice cheese board, very stylish and not so huge that you will pile on pounds with massive cheese consumption! This is a nice bulbous shaped one with a finger sized recess in the neck to make a handle.
These are produced by slumping the glass at high temperature, the wine bottle flattens and remains glossy and fantastic. The base of the bottle is still obvious with a ridge of thick glass in the platter - I rather like this!
The platter is finished with raffia and tied with a hand cut, hand stamped 'just add cheese' label. With two stamped hearts - just in case you want to make it a valentine gift!
I wrap in tissue before carefully packaging in recycled material to package. i post out using Royal Mail first class recorded delivery.
