Item details

This clock was made by cutting at an angle across an apple branch, this has given a striking face showing the ring structure to fine effect. It has a nice golden hue and some lovely 'pips' and small knots.
Dimensions 32 cm long, max width 9.5 cm, thickness approx 2 cm.
The long sides have been left totally natural with just a light spray of lacquer after removal of the bark.
It will be supplied with the hands removed. When replaced the time must be set using the wheel on the clock mechanism.
It has a hanging ring attached to the back and will be supplied with a battery.

I had an apple branch and tried cutting it at an extreme angle as my daughter wanted a clock to hang on her wall. I managed to cut two clocks and this is the second one. We did use one of the cuts to put outside the door with her house numbers on it.
