Full description
This Ash bowl was made from a local tree that was blown down in storms a couple of years ago. The wood has been allowed to dry out naturally, before being turned.
After turning, the spherical profile of the outside of the bowl has been coloured with spirit stain and sealed with a satin lacquer. The matching, rounded inside has been sealed and finished with liming wax which subtly picks out the grain of the wood.
