Owl brooch with flowers swirls and dots, i got a little carried away with seeing how many different things i could fit on one design and the result is my favorite owl brooch to date.
Handmade in English porcelain and high fired to 1270 Celsius / 2318 Fahrenheit. This one has been left unglazed with just natural oxide stains used to highlight the details.
Approximately 1 7/16 inches by 1 inche or 3.6cm by 2.5cm
As each piece is made and stained or glazed individually no two pieces are ever identical, that's the beauty of handmade products.
I make all my own original designs and from these I make my own molds. I make my own textures, stamps and molds from wax, plaster, clay, BlueTack, Polymer and anything else which is to hand the moment an idea comes to mind.
Please note photographs are a representation of the design and colour, you may not receive those photographed, but a close a copy as is possible in the handmade world :)
I love owls, in real life they're fierce yet cute and surprisingly fluffy.
