This hand felted hat was made from pure merino wool and silk. Merino wool is very silky, doesn't itch and feels soft against your skin. Wool is known for its properties of keeping you warm even when wet .
Getting caught in rain shower won't harm this hat. The felted wool will keep your head warm on those blustery or rainy days. Wool felt has memory and will hold its shape. If your hat gets wet, gently stretch it back into shape and let it dry in a warm place. You can also put it back on your head while it is still damp so that it gently shapes itself to fit your head perfectly.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
This hand felted hats are custom made to order in your choice of colour. The wool hats are a modified cloche design with a bit of a brim. They are made by hand with pure merino wool and raw silk threads for added texture. The hats are hand felted using a wet felting method. After felting the hat is dyed by hand using environmentally friendly dyes.
These felted hats can be ordered in a selection of colours: Red, Teal Green, Royal Blue.
The hats come in 2 sizes: (57-58 cm, 59-60).
If you would like to order a hat in a different size or in a different colour, I would be happy to make something for you. Please allow approx. 2-3 weeks for special orders.
These hand felted wool hats can be gently hand washed in cool water and left to dry. Wool felt is very pliable and can be shaped or slightly stretched while it is damp. After washing, I suggest that you wear the hat before it has dried completely, so that it will again stretch to fit your head perfectly.
