Full description
This is my first quilt and it s a rainbow of colours, very striking!
The pattern is of nine patch blocks.
There are polka dots, square shapes, flowers one the back of pink pigs as I liked the colour pattern.
I used pretty cotton material that I had and bought coloured plain cottons, with a wave design cotton for sashing around the quilt and a border.
The batting is Hobbs 80% cotton and 20% polyester.
I bought an Egyptian 100% cotton sheet for the back.
I quilted in straight lines down and across all squares with a cream quilting thread.
I machine stitched on the border then hand stitched it onto the back of the quilt.
It measures 66" x 65 aprox
Machine wash at 30 degrees and line dry.
