The fabric used for this handmade cosmetic/make up purse has been up-cycled from a tunic. It has flowers, embroidery and sequins stitched on to it. It is a very lovely fabric and I have teamed it up with some beige faux suede for the bottom of the purse.
On the front I have embellished the purse with some white eyelet lace and five small gold buttons. I have also stitched on the front and back some cream crochet lace trim at the bottom of the purse.
The purse has been interfaced with fusible fleece to keep its structure. It has a beige zip closure and a zip pull made from ivory satin ribbon and macramé. The lining inside the bag is a plain yellow 100% cotton fabric. The lining has been coated with washable vinyl, so you can keep it clean by using a damp cloth.
This is a quality cosmetic purse handmade by myself and would make an excellent gift or a super treat for yourself or someone special.
