My love for the vintage genre has steered me towards hand crafted patchwork styles which I find very therapeutic and relaxing to work with.
‘Up cycling’ materials and mediums harness my desire to recycle and work with unusual finishes and materials
I studied and worked as a printed textile designer early in my career and this love of printed fabrics has stuck with me.
I remember the first time I saw Russian nesting dolls.They were my older cousin's, I was about 7 and I could not stop playing with them. I loved, and still do, their outfits and fun faces.
Re-creating them I can dress them up how I want.

Individually hand crafted with recycled textiles and papers to create a delicate layered effect, embellished with a strawberry button and stitching.
Frame size 19 x 13.5cm depth 2cm
Round edged wooden mirror painted clunch (Farrow and Ball). Oval aperture.
This picture is handmade and therefore one of a kind.
I am happy to make unframed in different colourways and in other sizes to suit your needs. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks from request to completion.
