I was asked to make, as a custom order, an Adventure Bag with a darker base colour (to suit a wee boy who might be inclined to get things grubby!). I have used Robert Kaufman's Essex Yarn Dyed Linen in Black combined with Ed Emberley's Happy Drawing Elephants - I love the combination and hope the wee boy it is made for will too.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
An adjustable messenger bag ready for your little one's next adventure. Tough but beautiful and suited from 2 years right up to 10 years. Perfect for hands free playing. With their inside pocket, for special treasures, my Adventure Bags are uniquely designed and handmade to be long lasting and include lots of special features.
Each bag is unique and will vary slightly due to their handmade nature and variations in fabric placement.
- linen and cotton mix exterior - strong, beautifully soft, and won't show up the dirt!
- fully lined in organic designer fabric - featuring elephants based on Ed Emberley's Drawing Book of Animals
- 'porthole' on the front showcasing the beautiful designer fabric
- the strap adjusts with velcro - easy for a small person to manage by themself
- small lined inside pocket
- cool machine wash
Approximately 25 cm wide (10") by 22 cm tall (8 1/2"). The strap adjusts from approximately 34 cm (13 1/2") at longest to 27 cm (10 1/2") at shortest - measured from top of handle to top of bag - so actual strap length is double.
