I love to mix fabrics- textures, colours, patterns. The idea of having two bags in one appeals.... so I have mixed a sophisticated cream fabric with bold floral applique with a gorgeous Osborne and Little turquoise bird and floral cotton fabric. The fabrics are different yet complementary- one side bold and stylish, the other side a bit more fun. I also like the idea that you have to empty out your bag every now and again to reverse it- cleans out all the old junk!

Having been championed by grannies for many years, knitting seems to be all the rage once again. And what every trendy knitter needs is a trendy knitting bag. All unique, MamaRuby knitting bags are made in gorgeous vintage silks and cottons. This one is made from cream suede effect fabric with bold blue appliqué flowers on one side and floral and bird print turquoise Osborne and Little cotton on the other side, with tortoiseshell effect handles. This bag would fit up to about 20 balls of standard wool. These bags are fully reversible, so its like having two bags for the price of one! To change sides, simply turn the bag inside out and give it a good shake. They are the cutest knitting bags about. The added bonus? You don’t even need to knit to have one!
