When I lived in the States, I spent many years researching 18th century Pennsylvania German Birth and Baptismal certificates known as Fraktur. I particularly like the birds that embellished these documents and painted hundreds of them over time. This bird is from a collection I painted a few years ago while living in the States and I brought them with me to Yorkshire when I moved here.

Before I moved to England over two years ago, I did extensive work inspired by figures on early Pennsylvania German certificates known as Fraktur. I particularly like the birds depicted and painted many of them. On a recent trip back to the States, I found ACEO's I had forgotten about and brought them back to Yorkshire with me. This miniature, original, watercolour painting in the ACEO size of 3.5" x 2.5 is a one of a kind, signed and dated and will arrive in a hard, plastic protective case. Watercolour paper antiqued with walnut ink. Thank you for viewing my work!
