Let me tell you the story behind my Sloth Pocket Mirror...
When I was going through my studying years at college and university, I felt a little bit too much pressure on me to do really well and get good grades. I became very stressed out and didn't even see any results from pushing myself too hard! In fact my grades got worse.
Around this time, in order to take a break, I went to London Zoo. I love animals and the whole trip cheered me up, but one animal in particular stood out to me. You guessed it- the sloth!
The sloth was hanging upside down, moving really slowly and had a serene smile on its face. It looked as if it was enjoying life much more than me, as if it was noticing all the little things. I felt so inspired to just 'be'- as if I had been given permission to relax!
Now seeing the sloth reminds me to take it easy. Life is too beautiful to let it all rush by, isn't it?
