A BEAUTIFUL HANDMADE SOLID OAK COFFEE TABLE
TABLE MEASUREMENTS: LENGTH = 36" WIDTH = 36" HEIGHT = 10"
THE TABLETOP IS CONSTRUCTED FROM MANY SECTIONS OF KILN-DRIED OAK WHICH HAVE BEEN INDIVIDUALLY HAND-CUT, SANDED AND FINISHED
THE INDIVIDUAL SECTIONS ARE FIRMLY HELD TOGETHER BY A SINGLE SHEET OF 18mm ALL WEATHER PLYBOARD WHICH IS SURROUNDED BY OAK RAILS
THE TABLE LEGS ARE 6" x 6" SOLID OAK BLOCKS WHICH AGAIN HAVE BEEN INDIVIDUALLY HAND-CUT, SANDED AND FINISHED. THESE BLOCKS ARE SEASONED WHICH MEANS THAT THEY MAY CRACK AND SPLIT SLIGHTLY OVER TIME AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE STABILITY OF THE TABLE AND IT ADDS A LOVELY RUSTIC CHARM TO THE PIECE
THE FOUR CHUNKY OAK LEGS ARE NOT ATTACHED TO THE TABLETOP BUT SIT WITHIN BRACKETS ON ITS UNDERSIDE MAKING IT EASIER TO MOVE SHOULD YOU WISH TO RELOCATE IT!
THE TABLE LEGS AND CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE TOP HAVE BEEN FINISHED IN DANISH OIL. TO GIVE A CONTRAST, OTHER SECTIONS OF THE TABLETOP HAVE BEEN SIMPLY FINISHED WITH A HIGH QUALITY WAX.
EVERY PIECE OF OAK ON THIS TABLE HAS BEEN HAND SELECTED AND CUT, SANDED AND FINISHED BY MYSELF. THE DIFFERENT GRAINS AND FINISHES MAKE THIS TABLE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE !
