Purple Peacock - a hand bound journal, in a violet-purple wool felt. Lined with cotton denim fabric in deep indigo blue; hand embellished with peacock feather and suede handmade feather appliques. Hand embroidered with decorative stitching in silk threads. Filled with handmade paper, for your notes, ideas, sketches.
Book Details:
A beautiful cover of soft purple wool felt, lined with soft cotton denim fabric in indigo blue.
The journal is hand embroidered with gold metallic thread and silk embroidery floss. Appliqued with two embroidered peacock feathers and two hand-made feathers in purple suede. It is fastened with a pair of tiny invisible magnets.
The book contains 60 pages (120 sides) of soft grey text paper, suitable for pen and dry media.
The book is hand bound in a variation of long stitch, using deep blue linen thread.
The book measures approx 8.5 x 5.5 (21 x 14cm - approx A5), with a page area of approx 8.25 x 5" (21 x 12.5cm).
This book is a one-off item and, for your security, it will be posted to you by Royal Mail "Signed For" delivery.
