Full description
This small Beech bowl has been made from an old tree that came down in strong winds just over a year ago. Left to lay on the wood floor for a while the wood has spalted.
After turning, the outside of the bowl has been textured and then scorched and burnished. The inside is left plain and reveals subtle spalting. When completed the whole bowl has been treated with multiple layers of finishing oil.
