When I am making my little chaps, their story usually starts to present itself along the way.
This little mouse is quite obviously a girl and seemed to be similar to "Snicket" who I made not long before and so she became "Baudelaire". She is a friendly little lady and will make a loyal companion for someone who wants to tuck a mascot/confidante in their bag or pocket or will just as happily sit on the shelf watching proceedings.

Meet Baudelaire.
Baudelaire feels that her life will be full of adventures, and no matter how perilous things get, she will always come home safely :)
She is made from dark pink Sassy fabric with a dark grey backing and a burgundy/cream floral patterned cotton fabric for her feet and inside her ears. She has a sparkly fluffy braided tail and a shiny stitched nose with whiskers to match. Her tummy and feet are part filled with steel shot. She is wearing a cord round her neck with a small flower shaped pendant.
She can stand on her own two feet!
She is 5 1/4 inches standing and 4 inches sitting down.
OOAK Artist Mice.
My mice are all hand stitched from high quality mohair or synthetic material and are fully jointed with cotter pin joints.
They have noses that are embroidered with a co-ordinating metallic thread.
Their paw pads and inside their ears are usually cotton fabric and they have a stitched in hangtag .
The tummies have been part filled with steel shot for that heavy weighted and sometimes potbellied feel!
These are collector mice and are unsuitable for children under the age of 14.
