When is a quilt not a patchwork quilt? When the top is made with one whole piece of fabric. Call it cheating but as the delightful 100% cotton zoo animal fabric is already printed with a patchwork-effect pattern there was no need to chop it up!
Hand tied at the corner of each square with hand stitched satin bias binding this quilt has been lovingly made by my mum.
Measuring 167 cm (66'') by 132 cm (52'') this quilt is a good size for a single bed. Backed with a plain cream cotton fabric and filled with 2oz polyester wadding this quilt is lightweight enough to be used on its own in the summer months or as an extra layer when the nights get chilly.
As a busy mum of 2 under 5s I do a lot of washing and like things that can machine washed! This quilt can be washed on a 40 degree wash and lines dries very quickly. It can also be tumble dried.
