Hand cut and polished in mid Wales from the dried kernel of the Uxi nut.
Uxi is a large evergreen tree indigenous to a couple of states in Brazil and well distributed within the forests. commonly known as "fruit of the poor" as it was very inexpensive. Today it has gained popularity and the green egg-sized fruit fetches a good price in the local markets. The use of Uxi in amulets is believed to bring the wearer good luck and protect them from ill health.
Each one of these displays a different pattern when cut and polished, making a unique and beautiful necklace.
Supplied with a 42cm (16.5 inches) long thong with a lobster claw clasp. Please contact me if you would like a different length thong. Supplied in a gift box.
Pendant is approximately 4 - 4.5cm long and about 2cm wide.
Ready to be shipped and will be dispatched via First Class Recorded Delivery as soon as possible after I receive your order, usually within two working days.
