I am always trying to find creative uses for vintage and antique books and magazines, especially those that are too dog-eared to be enjoyed or passed on to others as they are. Here I combined disbound pages from vintage Ladybird books, and antique (Victorian) gardening magazine pages, to create something to remind me of the summer.

Full description
This original handmade diorama captures the essence of an English garden. Vintage images of butterflies are layered over a clipping from a genuine Victorian gardening magazine to create an evocative three-dimensional image. Mounted in a wooden frame.
