Gorgeous one of a kind pink floral handmade patchwork quilt suitable for a girl or grown up.
Bright and summery, the quilt front is arranged in the rail fence design using 3 toning cotton and poly cotton (the embroidery anglais) fabrics in hot pinks and yellows.
It is backed using a heavier weight 100% cotton pink and white gingham fabric. I've quilted it 'in the ditch' giving a pleasing grid like appearance on the back. I've used 2oz polyester wadding making it very lightweight and very transportable as it rolls up pretty small.
Measuring 127 cm (50'') by 100 cm (40'') it is the ideal size to top a single bed or to have as a lap quilt to snuggle under.
Asa a mum of two under 5s I do a lot of washing and the quilts I make are made to to wash on 40 degree machine wash. They line dry really quickly but they can also be tumble dried.
