This illustration was made with recycled pieces of paper stuck together by hand. It's quite time-consuming but gives a lovely intricate, mosaic effect.
I wanted to capture the beautiful fresh, free feeling of early sunrise in the spring and summer months. The sky is pink, the leaves are green, the birds are singing, and in that moment I feel like something wonderful is about to happen...
