pink bee applique and free embroidered purse or case.
this generously sized zip pencil case or make up purse measures approximately 19cm wide x 15 cm (7 x 5.5 inches). it would be perfect as a little make-up purse, pencil case or for protecting a phone, compact camera or other bits & bobs.
the BEE is in a pretty riley blake print cotton, with a black linen stripe on her back. her cheeks are flushed with excitement as she buzzes towards a pink cotton flower.
the fabrics are layered and appliqued onto pre-washed calico, the detail drawn on with free machine embroidery (free motion) embroidery.
this case is made entirely on a domestic sewing machine. everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
the purse itself is made from heavy weight calico which has been pre-washed several times so it’s soft and should not shrink when washed.
it is stiffened with vilene, lined with deep pink cotton and has a zip fastening.
if ordering more than one item, any excess postage charges will be refunded via paypal.
my design is based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, and is used under license.
