I love animals, and many, many years of them being my main choice of subject when I paint or draw means that I can really bring them to life in my work.

Full description
Something a little different for the doll's house enthusiast. Add a personalised touch to your doll's house with a unique commissioned miniature portrait of a much loved pet. Whether a dog, cat, horse, bird, rabbit, or any other animal, you'll receive a detailed, lifelike miniature watercolour and gouache portrait on heavy grade watercolour paper. Once the portrait is finished, I'll send you a scan for your approval, giving you the chance to ask for any alterations. When you're completely happy, the finished framed portrait will be delivered to you, ready for you to display in your own special setting.
The portrait comes framed with a brass effect metal frame, and protected behind acetate "glass". The dimensions of the painting, including its' frame are 60mm x 45mm (2 3/8" x 1 5/8").
Send either digital or non digital photographs as reference for the portrait. These should be clear, in focus and taken in natural light where possible. Sending the photos via email is the safest and most convenient way of getting your reference photos to me, but if this is not possible, then send them by mail. Any hard copy photos will be returned along with your portrait. Let me know if you want a particular colour in the background so that the picture will sit well in it's intended setting. Please allow approximately 4 days for completion and remember to discuss any specific completion deadlines and delivery requirements when placing your order.
