Full description
This brooch is hand made in lead- free pewter and measures 60 x40 mm it has a 25m safety clasp on the back.
I draw my design on to the pewter which I then raise using a boxwood tool. The next stage is mounting the stone ( it is not stuck on top but set in) The raised design is then filled and mounted on to a base, patinated and finally polished. This pewter does not tarnish like silver but can be buffed up if necessary with a silver cloth or silver wadding.
