It began 2 years ago when a viewer of one of my Flame working demos requested I make a Hedgehog off the cuff in clear glass.
Since that time I have developed the idea until I have now arrived at this little fella.
This will never be repeated and totally one of a kind, the spines sparkle and magnify the colours beautifully.

Welcome and thanks for your interest in my work.
This Borosilicate Glass Hedgehog is fashioned by myself, utilising both clear and coloured borosilicate glass rods. The pattern is a wig-wag created utilising traditional Flame working methods handed down by Artisans over the millennia.
Its an unique piece 1.25" high and 2.25 " long. In metric 32mm x 55mm.
The colour was struck at 648'C, annealed at 565'C in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability, as all Rogan Glass pieces are.
