Full description
This cute little mouse brooch with his pink jewel eye is handmade in lead-free pewter and measures 35 x 35mm , it has a 20mm safety clasp pin on the back.
I draw my design on to the pewter which I then raise and define using a boxwood tool. The next stage is to mount the stone ( it is not stuck on top but set in) The raised design is then filled and mounted on to a base, patinated and finally polished. This pewter does not tarnish like silver but can be buffed up if necessary with a silver cloth or silver wadding.
