If you love butterflies then I am sure my handmade patchwork fabric butterfly shall bring a smile to your face.This sweet extra large hanging butterfly has been handmade using some of my favourite fabrics, including Cath Kidston and Tanya Whelan. It has been stuffed with soft filling, and a little lavender for a delicate sweet scent. It is backed in a gorgeous green printed fabric and there is pink gingham ribbon to hang and also little bows tied at the ends of the ribbon.
I have used my own design, having been inspired by Eric Carle's book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, a favourite book in our house! What a beautiful butterfly the Caterpillar became.
This would a very special gift to a butterfly loving little girl, or lady, to hang on her wardrobe. The sweet butterfly measures approximately 30 cms at the widest point and 25cms in height, not including ribbon to hang.
