Full description

This is a CD-rom for all computers – Windows, Mac, Linux, Risc.

This collection contains pdf files of the book The Fair Isle Workbook and the pattern for the Upper Leogh jacket. It also contains over 350 photos of the island, the sheep and the other wild life on the island. 15 of these photos have been prepared as wall papers for both normal and wide screens.

Please note there are no moving pictures!

The workbook runs to 121 pages and includes both technique and history. There are several pages of stitch motifs, along with the pattern for a beanie with several different motif themes.

The pattern for the Leogh Jacket is adapted from a tunic in the museum on Fair Isle which was probably knitted in the croft on the island called Leogh. The pattern gives instructions for 10 sizes and has step-by-step notes with many photos to help you through the knitting process.

The Small Print!

Once I have received your payment I will send the CD-rom by First Class post within the UK, and Airmail outside it. Your packet will usually be in the post within 24 hours of ordering, but please note I cannot be held responsible for delays once the item has been posted.

Please remember that all the material is copyright, and you cannot use the patterns to make garments for sale without my permission. Thank you.
