With spring here I have designed this lovely, oversized floral corsage that would make a perfect little accessory for ones outfit. I have used some of my favorite fabrics to make it up, a delightful and pretty pink Broad Anglais fabric and a lovely pink mix patchwork effect fabric. I think they look super cute together.
It is backed onto 2 pieces of fabric which has within the two pieces some lightweight wadding that really helps to make the corsage stand out when worn on clothes. I have hand stitched a silver coloured metal brooch back on the back. It also has a co ordinating fabric covered button in the centre along with some pretty ribbon for detail.
Please note, there may be some natural fraying of the edges of the fabric petals on this brooch, in my opinion this only adds to the character and vintage look of the brooch that is so popular these days.
