I purchase some pink fabric with little houses printed on it and I matches with the batik fabric.
I could not resist making the centre scene of house and garden.
The quilt and cushion I have hand quilted.

Full description
This charming little quilt and cushion would make a lovely gift for a small child or baby.
It has a centre medalion picture of a cute little cottage (hand appliqued) with embroidered roses climbing around the door and a little garden with trees,flowers and even a bike . All these I have hand embroidered and quilted.
The rest of the quilt is made of a pale pink fabric with little houses printed on it and plain pale pink and a dark pink batik fabric in a naughts and crosses patchwork pattern, with three hand-made Suffolk puffs in all four corners.
The backing is white with tiny red strawberries printed on it.
