I was lucky enough to visit Mexico City a few years ago, visiting the house of Frida Kahlo and watching an authentic Lucha Libre wrestling match. I have since been fascinated with all things Mexican and began crafting through my love of the culture of Mexico.

Full description
This features a self portrait of the iconic Mexican artist set behind a glass pebble and surrounded with gold glitter. It is embellished with a corncob charm and red paper rose. 2.5cm/25mm
This is part of my series of bottlecap brooches and necklaces, influenced by mexican culture and using iconic images from themes such as Day Of The Dead, Lucha Libre, Loteria bingo and Frida Kahlo.
The bottlecaps are all upcycled, most are from mexican beers and real ales but the brand you get will vary.
All items are all hand crafted by myself, in my home so are all unique items, not mass manufactured.
