Full description
This necklace has been crocheted to my own design from pure silk thread, using a steel hook. At its centre is my version of a traditional Irish Crochet rose, set with a genuine Swarovski crystal pearl.
The black silk is lustrous and is a little heavier than the delicate threads I have used in my other necklaces in a similar design. This gives it a slightly more substantial look and feel for added impact! The pearl centre ensures a vintage feel to this piece.
The necklace fastens with a simple loop and a crocheted heart at the end - simply pinch the heart in half to pull it through the loop, then press it flat with your fingers when it is through to stop it slipping it out.
The necklace measures approximately 18 inches (46 cm ) long, from end to end. The central pendant part is approximately 3 inches ( 7.5 cm) wide and 2.75 inches ( 7 cm) long.
If neccessary, this necklace can be very gently hand washed and laid flat to dry. It can be gently pressed / steamed with a warm iron, taking care to avoid the crystal.
This item will arrive wrapped in recycled, acid and bleed free tissue paper and a pretty, high quality, reusable gift box.
I send items by Royal Mail First Class, unless otherwise requested. I am also able to send via Recorded or Special Delivery for next day delivery (subject to Royal Mail guidelines) for extra cost. Please contact me if you would like this option.
